- Uganda is facing a severe water shortage which has affected hydroelectric power generaton for the country. Electric power is being rationed. At best we have power for 24 hours and then no power for 24 hours. At times we have been without electricity for 3 days in a row. You can imagine how trying this is. We are also paying more now for the electric power we get.
