Norah Rachel Kirya

Norah came to us as a one month old. She brought by her birth father who is over 70 years old. The old man is an alcoholic and the young girl of 18 who was his wife left him after giving birth to Norah. The old man had no means of taking care of the little baby and the Probation Department removed Norah from him. She has been with us ever since.

Norah is a quiet little girl. Sometimes she thinks she’s a big girl and can do the things the bigger kids do. But eventually she’ll get hurt and after some affection and cuddles she’s fine. She loves to sing a lot especially when she is on her potty chair. She has taken a little longer than we would have liked to talk but singing has never been a problem. Norah and Joelle are now the two left at home while the others are in school and sometimes they play wonderfully together and other times not. Somehow they end up coming back together after a short time and laughing and playing.

Though Norah is still young, we know that her future is very bright and that she will go far. We know that God has a plan for her life and we look forward to watching her grow and develop into the beautiful young woman God intends her to be. Remember our little singer Norah when you remember us in prayer.
