Robert came to us at the age of four months. He was brought by the probati on officer and his own grandmother. Robert’s father died in late 2001, followed by his mother in January of 2002. Both died of AIDS. Robert’s grandmother use to come often to visit, but brought bad new every time. Out of her 11 children, only one is surviving because of AIDS. How sad for a mother to bury almost all of her children and even some of her grandchildren because of the deadly virus. We tested Robert for AIDS soon after his arrival, and the results were negative! PTL!!

Robert is now a very rambunctious 6 year old. He has a contagious smile with a matching infectious giggle. He loves to play football with his brothers when he doesn’t have school. His favorite food is rice and beans and loves watching Narnia. He loves cars and can’t wait to be able to drive one himself.

We want Robert to be a testimony, not only to his biological family but to the world. When you remember us here in Jinja, remember Robert.
