Peter (whom we named) came to us similar to the way Isaac did. Peter was found at an open air crusade on a Sunday night at around 8:00pm. He was dressed nicely but in slippers (flip flops). The heads of the crusade announced to all attending that there was a little boy who was lost and Peter being on stage was presented to the crowd. Noone came forward. As the crusade ended, the little boy was taken to the police and handed over to them. The police kept him in the police station for two days thinking someone would come for him, but to date noone has. The main problem with Peter was that he did not speak any of the languages of the area. He spoke the language of the northern part of Uganda. Pastor John knew some words from that language and was the only one who could communicate with him. Now, not only can Peter speak English, but also the Luganda and Lusoga language.

Peter is our star athlete. We are prepping him for the Olympics. Peter is very quick and has great stamina. His favorite movies is Fantastic 4, and he loves eating posho. Our future Olympian brings smiles to our faces whenever he runs or jumps because he’s so tiny but he’s very powerful.
