AFTC has 31 children now. No toddlers, no babies but 7 preschoolers, and 23 elementary kids. It was easier when they were younger but now that they are older there are needs that the kids and the home has. We are asking that you partner with us financially to give the children the necessities they need to stay happy, healthy kids. Look at our list and pray about what you can do to help. No gift is to large or to small. If you send a check please put a note designating which item you are donating too. We will definitely keep you posted on how God is using our Aunties and Uncles and Grammas and Grampas across the world in helping to meet these needs. Van $ 20,000—our one vehicle is almost 8 years old and we all squeeze into it on a daily basis. If you’re the ones unfortunate enough to sit in the back, you may suffocate in 10 minutes if the van doesn't start moving and the air starts flowing. The kids double up on each other and when we have visitors sometimes even triple up. When we originally bought the van the oldest child was 6 now he’s 13. Big difference in age and size. There were only 14 children all under 7 at that time, now there are 31 with only 9 under 7. HELP!!! Mattresses (14) - $ 933.00—foam mattresses don’t have the wear and tear as Sealy mattresses. Especially with little children who sometimes wet the bed. We can get all 14 for under $1000 Mosquito nets (31) $868.00— good mosquito nets keep the kids staying healthy by decreasing the chances of getting malaria. Every one needs a new one on their bed. The old ones are now very holey and in need of retirement. Dining table—$485.00 (seats 12) — when you don’t get a seat at the table, you sit on a mat on the floor. Our kids would love it if everyone could sit on a dining table to eat their meals. Beds (4) - $325 —the babies have grown up and are now preschoolers. The baby cots they used are now to small. Moriah who is in kindergarten keeps telling me “Mommy, my bed doesn’t cover my legs.” :-) Can u get four wooden twin beds for this price where you live? |
